POLÍTICAS E ATIVIDADES CULTURAIS EM PENELA A DINÂMICA DE UM CONCELHO COM MEMÓRIA DE UM PASSADO PARA ALÉM DO TERRITÓRIO

Abstract

O Relatório que se apresenta corresponde ao relatório de estágio elaborado no âmbito do Mestrado em Política Cultural Autárquica da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Coimbra, no ano letivo de 2021/2022.O estágio decorreu no Município de Penela, no período compreendido entre 24/01/2022 e 30/06/2022, e teve como principal enfoque a identificação, caracterização das várias atividades culturais permanentes e ocasionais da responsabilidade da autarquia e as interações com o público-alvo comunidade local, crianças e jovens das escolas e turistas. O principal objeto de estudo centrou-se na estação arqueológica da ‘Villa Romana do Rabaçal’ onde adquirimos conhecimento e competências para efetuar visitas guiadas no museu e na vila romana. Tivemos ainda oportunidade de acompanhar os trabalhos que estão a ser realizados no sítio arqueológico de São Simão, o qual se encontra em preparação para se tornar visitável. Trata-se de importantes e significativos vestígios da ocupação romana no território, fonte de valor acrescentado em termos patrimoniais, culturais e turísticos.Colaboramos no planeamento e execução de vários eventos nomeadamente: Comemoração do dia Internacional dos Monumentos e Sítios; A feira medieval e Urban Sketchers – desenho urbano, este último, integrado num projeto comum ao território de ação da Deuceira, como à frente se identifica. Durante o estágio foi também possível avaliar participar nas mais variadas ações culturais do município, as quais são apresentadas, com detalhe, no decurso do relatório.

The report presented corresponds to the internship report prepared within the scope of the Master in Municipal Cultural Policy of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Coimbra, in the academic year 2021/2022.The internship took place in the Municipality of Penela, in the period between 01/24/2022 and 06/30/2022, and its main focus was the identification, characterization of the various permanent and occasional cultural activities under the responsibility of the municipality and the interactions with the public -target local community, children and youth from schools and tourists. The main object of study focused on the archaeological site of 'Villa Romana do Rabaçal' where we acquired knowledge and skills to carry out guided tours in the museum and in the Roman villa. We also had the opportunity to follow the work being carried out at the São Simão archaeological site, which is being prepared to become visitable. These are important and significant vestiges of the Roman occupation in the territory, a source of added value in terms of heritage, culture and tourism.We collaborate in the planning and execution of several events, namely: Commemoration of the International Day of Monuments and Sites; The medieval fair and Urban Sketchers – urban design, the latter, integrated in a common project to the territory of action of Deuceira, as identified below.During the internship, it was also possible to evaluate participating in the most varied cultural actions of the municipality, which are presented, in detail, in the course of the report.
