Jorge Retorna a Montemor - Do Texto ao Palco (Uma Encenação com o CITEC)

Abstract

Com o presente trabalho, pretende-se contribuir para a história mais próxima do CITEC enquanto grupo de teatro amador que festejou, de 2020 a 2022, os seus 50 anos. Centramo-nos neste projeto que se iniciou na década de 70 do século passado; pretendemos refletir sobre o modo como se encenou a peça de Armando Nascimento Rosa, Jorge Retorna a Montemor, e sobe o modo como esta se inscreve nas comemorações organizadas por este grupo de teatro amador, em torno do seu meio século de existência. Pretendeu-se, também, refletir sobre duas estratégias de criação teatral, utilizadas por Armando Nascimento Rosa na sua peça: o designado teatro biográfico e alguns dispositivos metateatrais. Paralelamente, fez-se uma reflexão em torno do papel do encenador e das suas opções dramatúrgicas, criativas, na construção do espetáculo Jorge Retorna a Montemor. Aproveitou-se o conhecimento do grupo e a qualidade do trabalho interpessoal que conduziu à estreia, recolheram-se reflexões e opiniões dos diferentes participantes, de modo a possibilitar uma perspetiva de participação crítica por parte dos atores e dos diferentes técnicos. Ao mesmo tempo, ganhou-se a consciência da contribuição das diferentes linguagens de cena que se juntaram, cada uma a seu modo e no devido tempo, no espetáculo final, onde convivem, por assim dizer, teatro brechtiano, paródia, pantomima, comédia dell´arte e o grotesco, conceitos úteis no trabalho de ator, no jogo de cena, na conceção do espaço cénico, na valorização do texto e nos recursos técnicos utilizados.Finalmente, há que registar a importância que o conhecimento do trabalho de ator, teve para a descoberta do trabalho do encenador.

With the present work, we intend to contribute to the closer history of CITEC as an amateur theater group that celebrated, from 2020 to 2022, its 50th anniversary. We focus on this project that began in the 70s of the last century; we intend to reflect on the way Armando Nascimento Rosa's play, Jorge returns to Montemor, was staged, and on the way it is inscribed in the commemorations organized by this amateur theater group, around its half century of existence. We also intended to reflect on two theatrical creation strategies used by Armando Nascimento Rosa in his play: the so-called biographical theater and some metatheatrical devices. In parallel, there was a reflection on the role of the director and his dramaturgical and creative options in the construction of the show Jorge Retorna a Montemor. The group's knowledge and the quality of the interpersonal work that led to the premiere were taken advantage of, reflections and opinions were collected from the different participants, in order to enable a perspective of critical participation by the actors and the different technicians. At the same time, awareness was gained of the contribution of the different stage languages that came together, each in its own way and at the right time, in the final performance, where Brechtian theater, parody, pantomime, comedy dell'art and the grotesque coexist, so to speak, concepts useful in the actor's work, in the scene play, in the conception of the scenic space, in the valorization of the text and in the technical resources used.Finally, we should note the importance that the knowledge of the actor's work had for the discovery of the director's work.
