O Território dos Arquitetos

Abstract

Há uma efetiva indissociabilidade entre a arquitetura, a perceção dos espaços e os territórios onde elas se manifestam. Por outro lado, qualquer intervenção que vise a criação ou manipulação do espaço, qualquer arquitetura, tem subjacente uma ideia capaz de a fazer integrar plenamente o território, construindo ou afirmando aí um novo lugar. As paisagens, enquanto produtos culturais, naturais ou artificializadas, constituem-se como terrenos férteis para o homem dar largas à sua imaginação, para cada sociedade dar forma e congruência às suas necessidades. Olhar o território como simples suporte, impõe como evidência que o mesmo se oferece como matéria-prima para modelação por diversos sujeitos profissionais. Importa por isso refletir até que ponto, dadas as especificidades que interessam a todas essas sensibilidades autorais, existem especificidades que se fundem, ou que alternativamente distinguem valores disciplinares próprios da Arquitetura.

There is an effective inseparability between architecture, the perception of spaces and the territories where they manifest themselves. On the other hand, any intervention aimed at creating or manipulating space, any architecture, has an underlying idea capable of making it fully integrate the territory, building or affirming a new place there. The landscapes, as cultural products, natural or artificial, are fertile land for man to let his imagination run free, for each society to give shape and congruence to his needs. Looking at the territory as a simple support imposes as evidence that it is offered as raw material for modeling by different professional subjects. Therefore, it is important to reflect to what extent, given the specificities that interest all these authorial sensibilities, there are specificities that merge, or that alternatively distinguish disciplinary values specific to Architecture.
