Biography
Manuela Abelho. Completed the PhD degree in Biology - Ecology in 2000, the master degree in Animal Ecology in 1994 and the bachelor degree in Biology - Scientific branch in 1989, all by Universidade de Coimbra, Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia. Is an Adjunct Professor in Instituto Politécnico de Coimbra, Escola Superior Agrária and a researcher in Centro de Ecologia Funcional. Published 22 articles in Scopus indexed journals. Has 4 chapters of books. Supervised 2 and co-supervised 3MSc dissertations. Works in the area of Biological Sciences with emphasis on Freshwater Ecology.
