Secreto é o ruído dos corpos: feminino e erotismo na poesia de Judith Teixeira, Maria Teresa Horta, Yolanda Morazzo e Paula Tavares

Abstract

Esta investigação dedica-se ao estudo amplo e rigoroso das temáticas do erotismo e do feminino na poesia de quatro autoras de língua portuguesa – Judith Teixeira, Maria Teresa Horta, Yolanda Morazzo e Paula Tavares –, privilegiando aspetos fundamentais como o posicionamento do sujeito de enunciação feminino face à sexualidade e ao sexo, o corpo e o prazer, as relações estabelecidas pelo sujeito poético com os outros e consigo próprio, o amor e a liberdade. Neste seguimento, emergem outros tópicos de análise teórica que complementam e se relacionam com o feminismo, a condição feminina e a subalternidade, nomeadamente no que se refere à distribuição de papéis entre masculino e feminino, ao confronto entre ambos ou ainda a relevância e os espaços em que se movem as figuras femininas. O contexto político, histórico-social e literário bem como o espaço geográfico e a época de produção configuram o enquadramento indispensável à obra e carreira literária de cada uma das autoras na medida em que constituem fatores que definem e influenciam o tratamento destas temáticas e a sua postura face aos dois polos nucleares que estruturam este trabalho: feminino e erotismo. Assim, o contexto português dos séculos XX e XXI, bem como os contextos cabo-verdiano da primeira metade do século XX e angolano desde os anos 40 do mesmo século são incontornáveis. A partir de um corpus literário previamente selecionado do conjunto da obra das quatro autoras, pretende-se dar destaque ao texto literário, privilegiando uma análise rigorosa a partir da qual seja possível perspetivar as diferentes mundividências femininas apresentadas por Judith Teixeira, Maria Teresa Horta, Yolanda Morazzo e Paula Tavares. A ousadia, o arrojo, a intervenção na esfera social e política, a par da defesa de valores fundamentais como o amor e a liberdade (que se espraia no âmbito sexual e que se estende para além dele) e da articulação de memória, História e tradição serão explorados como elementos basilares em cada uma das poéticas construídas por cada uma das autoras, cuja escolha está diretamente relacionada com a qualidade e valor da sua escrita, mas também pela singularidade e excecionalidade que representam na História da Literatura, conseguindo afirmar o seu valor enquanto produtoras de literatura e como personalidades emblemáticas, de estima e de consideração, ainda que a diferentes níveis e em momentos distintos e particulares.

This investigation is dedicated to the broad and rigorous study of the themes of eroticism and the feminine in the poetry of four Portuguese-speaking authors - Judith Teixeira, Maria Teresa Horta, Yolanda Morazzo and Paula Tavares –, privileging fundamental aspects such as the positioning of the feminine subject about sexuality and sex, the body and pleasure, the relationships established by the subject with others and with himself, love and freedom. Consequently, other topics of theoretical analysis which complement and are related to feminism, the feminine condition and subordination emerge, namely with regard to the distribution of roles between male and female, the confrontation between both or even the relevance and spaces where female figures move. The political, historical-social and literary context, as well as the geographical space and the time of production, constitute the indispensable framework for the work and literary career of each of the authors, insofar as they constitute factors that define and influence the treatment of these themes and their attitude towards the two nuclear poles that structure this work: feminine and eroticism. Thus, the Portuguese context of the 20th and 21st centuries, as well as the Cape Verdean contexts of the first half of the 20th century and Angolan since the 40’s of the same century are mandatory. Based on a literary corpus previously selected from the set of works by the four authors, it is intended to highlight the literary text, privileging a rigorous analysis from which it is possible to envision the different female worldviews presented by Judith Teixeira, Maria Teresa Horta, Yolanda Morazzo and Paula Tavares. Daring, boldness, intervention in the social and political spheres, along with the defense of fundamental values such as love and freedom (which spreads in the sexual domain and which extends beyond it) and the articulation of memory, history and tradition will be explored as basic elements in each of the poetics built by each of the authors, whose choice is directly related to the quality and value of their writing, but also due to the uniqueness and exceptionality they represent in the History of Literature, managing to affirm their value as producers of literature and as emblematic personalities of esteem and consideration, but in different levels and in particular moments.
