Génesis del capitalismo andaluz en la primera modernidad europea (siglos XIV-XVI)

Abstract

Esta tese busca aprofundar dentro dos estudos históricos sobre a origem do capitalismo, do racismo e do colonialismo na génese da formação sistema mundo moderno.A nossa tese parte da proposta das epistemologias do sul para pensar historicamente a Europa, buscando construir novas hipóteses para a compreensão da génese do capitalismo histórico e do sistema moderno e colonial. Ela divide-se em oito capítulos. No primeiro trata-se do marco teórico e intelectual das epistemologias do Sul e da estratégica metodológica. O segundo desenvolve uma trajetória pela tradição intelectual dos Estudos andaluzes e traça um marco histórico da História do território sul peninsular e do sul da Europa, pensada a partir do mediterrâneo. Esta História extensa do sul da península incorpora o desenvolvimento histórico de Tartesso, da Turdetânia, da Bética (romana) e Spania (bizantina). O terceiro capítulo introduz-nos a uma breve História do Al- Andalus. Os capítulos seguintes, do quarto ao décimo primeiro constituem os pilares da tese doutoral. Neles avançam-se as nossas hipóteses da conquista da Andaluzia como o processo histórico que antecipa a conformação do sistema mundo moderno colonial e do capitalismo histórico, constituindo assim, em 1492, duas fases históricas do mesmo processo de expansão imperialista, colonial e capitalista. A Andaluzia seria, portanto, uma fronteira do mundo, o primeiro território conquistado pelo feudalismo europeu, antes do começo das conquistas do Norte de África, das ilhas do Atlântico oriental, do Caribe e da América Latina. A Andaluzia, assim como o sul da Europa, faria portanto, parte da génese do capitalismo histórico no contexto da primeira modernidade inicial.

The aim of this thesis is focused in going deeper in the historics studies about theorigin of capitalism, racism and colonialism in the genesis of the modern worldsystem making. Our doctoral thesis begins from the proposal of theepistomologies from the South for thinking Europe historically, trying to build newhypothesis for the understanding of the genesis of the historic capitalism and themodern and colonial world system. This thesis is divided in eleven chapters. Thefrst one is dedicated to the theoretical and intelectual framework of theepistemologies from the South and the methodological strategy followed. Thesecond chapter develops a view trough the intelectual tradition of the Andalusianstudies and a historic framework of the History of the south peninsular territoryand the south of Europe thought from the Mediterranean. This long History fromthe peninsular south includes, the historic development of Tarteso, Turdetania,(roman) Bética and (bizantine) Spania. And the third chapter introduce us briefyinto the History of Al-Andalus.The next chapters ,from the forth to the eleventh, are the pillars of the doctoralthesis. Therein it is described our hyphothesis of the Andalusian conquest as thehistorical process that anticipates the formation of the modern and colonial worldsystem and of the historic capitalism, defning 1492 as two historical phases ofthe same imperialist, colonial and capitalist expansion process. Andalusia would be,consequently, a border of the world, the frst land conquered by the europeanfeudalism, before the North Africa conquest, the eastern Atlantic islands, Caribeand Latin America. Andalusia, as well as southern Europe, would be therefore partof the genesis of the historic capitalism within the context of the frst earlyeuropean modernity.
