From a theorization about the act of eating and the meal, the study analyses the real and symbolic sharing table in the biblical literary texts and presents the usual table of biblical inspiration as an experience of gastronomy. This table can be enjoyed in the ambit of the new tourism, this concept being considered through a differentiating look, opened to the diversity, where you can also consider a new way of viewing the spirituality, through a gastronomic intake of the sacred. The act of eating in community, intrinsic to man, constitutes itself as a marker of cultural, historic and ethnological identity linking men among themselves, creating and defining communities, values, beliefs which express a way of representation and interpretation of the natural and of the supernatural. So, the communication, the whole system of exchanges (gift, punishment) among men and among these and gods can express itself in a well or badly succeed language of the act of sharing table. Consequently, the principle of the abundance of divine goods that are given to men is implemented through the metaphor of an abundant and plentiful meal, the reverse occurring when gods refuse their favors to men. The meal is a real and symbolic event with a healing and restoring function that feeds the man as a social being. The act of sharing the table, studied in its diverse levels (supper, bode, banquet), intends to situate each individual on a specific place, where revealing himself, he can interact and relate with the most diverse purposes, positive and negative. The standard table provides friendliness, sharing and closer ties, as well as affirmation of statute and of power, the occasion when the table becomes a place of conflict. Finally, the study presents a proposal of practical applicability in which biblical gastronomy is pointed out as a singular touristic product for our days. The suggestions transform the theoretical analysis about sharing table in real experiences of gastronomic fruition, bringing from the biblical world the inspiration for its preparation. These suggestions set the courses that are offered not only on the way of the ingredients that feed the body as well as the spirit, taking into consideration that it is an experience which, although for universal addresses, it reaches the public that more and more seeks the religious tourism or the spiritual tourism and experiences of niche. In the end, through the analyzing of the sharing table and sharing food, it is recovered the knowledge of a past, of texts, of a culture and of memories, matrices for , as in this case, the one that is provided by the Bible, as a fundamental text of the identity of the European and the Occidental man.
