Boaventura de Sousa Santos states that the understanding of the world is greater than the western understanding of the world. This is also the seminal idea of the internatonal research project directed by him: ALICE: Strange mirrors, unsuspected lessons. Based on this foundatonal thesis I aim to queston and theorize, from a post-colonial feminism point of view, the existence of non-capitalist socio-economic experiences, engendered and led by women in Southern Africa, South East and Centre West of Brazil. This paper has a comparatve dimension and gives a greater importance to the amplifcaton of the scientfc canon opening space and the debate to look forward, discuss and incorporate experiences, which have been actvely silenced but with major heuristc potentalites to understand and transform the social sphere. In this presentaton I do a theoretcal reflecton that assists me in the discussion of two concepts that I have been developing due to the lessons learned with the non-imperial Souths that underpinned my study: the abundance and the sobriety.
