This article presents the evaluation results of the changes of systemic orientation in therapeutic process according to classical settings [n=20; 10 Family Therapy cases (FT) and 10 Couple Therapy cases]. Our first step in this approach was to review all the therapy sessions, ordering them according to a set of organizing axes of the narrative and interactive functioning of the family and couple systems and registered them according to the evaluation schedule of the therapeutic process - GAPT (Sequeira 2003). Then, three different moments of the evaluation were selected and evaluated (first session, the last of the agreement and the follow up of the finalized cases and the last session occurred in the non drops up. The data were treated through statistic described. Analysing singularities (speech ones, behaviour ones and cognitive ones), we were able to conclude that success is associated to the occurrence and amplification that take place within and without the therapeutic context. According to the analysis of the central subject matters of the sessions, as factors that contribute and reflect the building up of the changes, the conclusion is that there are some differences between the successful and the unsuccessful cases since the first session. The central subject matters of the successful cases are organized, during the first session according to the symptom but they already include other non problem subject matters; then, during the next sessions, the non problem subject matters are prevailing. On the other hand, within the unsuccessful cases, the conversation is organized around the central symptom as well as around other non problems subjects in all the sessions.por
