Symposion 2015. Vorträge zur griechischen und hellenistischen Rechtsgeschichte

Abstract

The twentieth meeting of the Society for Greek and Hellenistic Legal History, the “Symposion,” took place in St. Peter's Hall (Sala de S. Pedro) of the General Library (Biblioteca Geral) at the University of Coimbra, Portugal, September 1-4, 2015. In six sessions spread over three and a half days, were presented fifteen papers (one of them in absentia) and fifteen responses (in one case with an additional note), by scholars from twelve countries in Europe and North America. As usually happens in the “Symposion” meetings, no general subject was provided and every speaker was free to report his or her latest studies on a specific topic. The papers have been arranged according to time, place and legal connections respectively.
