Abstract

Informática, Direito de Autor e Propriedade Tecnodigital corresponds to the academic dissertation that I have presented in 1998 at the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra. It is a deep and comprehensive analyse of the adaptation process of copyright law to the challenge of digital technologies at European level, regarding international requirements and different traditions of comparative law. In particular, the study is focused on the legal protection of computer programs, electronic databases and technical systems of protection and management of copyright objects.
