ABSTRACT Introduction: The effects of the resistance training are known by the increase of the lean mass, maintenance of the power and potency of the muscle, In addition to the prevention of pathology. On the other hand, the influence of the resistance training on the intraocular pressure (IOP). It still little explored in ambit of the science of the sports and visuals. Purpose: It was to check the associations between the lactate concentrations after the resistance training exercise and aerobic training exercises with the intraocular pressure variation and to know how much time it stay to be amended by the exercise. Method: Was evaluated sixteen university students selected according to the following inclusion criteria: i) male; ii) practice of resistance training with six months or more; iii) with ages between 18 and 30 years old; iv) without any kind of injury and physically fit to realize the test: test negative to the par-q; v) who are not with any ocular disease. The load that was used by the test at the supine was 65% of 1MR for 15 maximums repetitions and 85% of 1MR for 6 maximums repetitions. After the prediction of the loads they will realize two session of training (E1-1 S1 and E1-2 S2), the volunteers was divided in two groups, where they was instructed to realize in a way randomly the session, with a time interval of 180 seconds to 3x6 with 85% of 1RM and 60 seconds to 3x15 with 65% 1RM,E2) Continuous aerobic exercise performed at 60% of heart rate reserve (HRR) for 30 minutes on a treadmill and E3) interval aerobic exercise lasting exercise 30 minutes, but with intensite variation between 50% of HRR (2 min) and 80% HRR (1 min). also they will be solicit to the volunteers to do not do anything very intense in the two days before the tests. The measure of the intraocular pressure occurred by (tonometer of Perkins) and the plasma lactate is obtained in two opportunities by the (lactimetroAccu-check), before the exercises and immediately after the exercises. As procedures was adopted on applied to compare the means regarding these variables was used to measure ANOVA, repeated adopting a confidence level of 95%. The software used was GraphPad Prism®. Results: There was significant reduction of IOP, where lactate concentrations increased significantly as well. Conclusion: there is a reduction of (IOP) after practice dynamic exercise, regardless of the modality apparently, since there with a significant increase in lactate concentrations.
