Jornalismo digital: a experiência no Diário de Notícias

Abstract

O presente relatório é elaborado tendo por base a minha experiência na secção de desporto do Diário de Notícias e conta com as seguintes perguntas de referência: O que mudou no jornalismo com a internet como veículo fundamental da informação? É pertinente uma nova abordagem ética para a internet? O que distingue o jornalismo online em Portugal do resto do mundo? Como forma de responder a estas perguntas teve-se por base a já mencionada experiência de estágio e a pesquisa em torno do tema jornalismo digital. Neste sentido, analisa-se a história e evolução do Diário de Notícias de um ponto de vista da secção de desporto, bem como as diferenças a nível da estrutura entre as versões papel e digital, tendo em conta a importância do jornalismo desportivo no panorama nacional. Numa segunda parte mais teórica pretende-se mostrar o que mudou no jornalismo com o aparecimento da internet expondo as suas principais diferenças, utilizando como termo de comparação o jornalismo produzido em Portugal e no resto do mundo.

The present report is based on my experience in the sports section of the Diário de Notícias and has the following reference questions: What has changed in journalism with the internet as a key vehicle information? It is pertinent to a new ethical approach to internet? What distinguishes online journalism in Portugal from the rest of the world? In order to answer these questions it was taken based on the aforementioned internship experience and research around the theme of digital journalism. In this sense, it is analysed the history and evolution of the Diário de Notícias from a point of view of the sports section, as well as the differences in the structure between the paper and digital versions, taking into account the importance of sports journalism in the national panorama. In a second, and more theoretical, part i pretend to show what has changed in journalism with the emergence of the internet, exposing their main differences, using as a benchmark the journalism produced in Portugal and around the world.
