Construção da aliança em casos contrastantes com clientes involuntários: microanálise das dimensões intrasistema (segurança e sentimento de partilha de objetivos)

Abstract

O presente estudo teve como principal finalidade desenvolver uma microanálise da construção da aliança, ao nível das dimensões intrasistema (Segurança e Sentimento de Partilha de Objetivos) comparando quatro famílias involuntárias, contrastantes do ponto de vista dos resultados terapêuticos. Para o feito, analisou-se a força da aliança nas referidas dimensões, a partir dos comportamentos dos clientes e dos contributos dos terapeutas na 1ª sessão, através da versão observacional do System for Observing Family Therapy Alliances (SOFTA-o, versão Clientes e versão Terapeutas; Sotero et al., 2010). Para selecionar as famílias contrastantes do ponto de vista dos resultados recorreu-se à adaptação portuguesa do Goal Attainment Scaling (GAS; Sotero & Relvas, 2010). Os resultados obtidos revelaram a existência de semelhanças na construção da aliança intrasistema em três das quatro famílias. Na maioria dos casos os pais apresentam-se mais seguros no contexto terapêutico, contrariamente aos filhos que manifestam mais comportamentos de insegurança no contexto da terapia. Em três das famílias analisadas verificam-se ainda comportamentos negativos respeitantes ao Sentimento de Partilha de Objetivos. Em ambas as dimensões estudadas, os terapeutas apresentam apenas contributos positivos para a construção da aliança intrasistema nas quatro famílias.

The main objective of this study was the development of a microanalysis of the construction of the alliance, at the level of the intrasystem dimensions (Safety and Shared Sense of Purpose) comparing four involuntary, contrasting families from the point of view of the therapeutic results. For the act, the strength of the alliance was analysed in the abovementioned dimensions, from the behaviours of the clients and with the assessment of the therapists in the 1st session, through the observational version of the System for Observing Family Therapy Alliances (SOFTA - O, client version and therapist version; Sotero et al., 2010). In order to select the contrasting families from the point of view of the results one resorted to the Portuguese adaptation of a Goal Attainment Scaling (GAS; Sotero & Relvas, 2010). The obtained results revealed the existence of similarities in the construction of the intra-system alliance in three of four families. In most of the cases the parents present themselves more secure in the therapeutic context, oppositely to the children who show more behaviours of insecurity in the context of the therapy. In three of the analysed families negative behaviours concerning the Shared Sense of Purpose were observed. In both studied dimensions, the therapists only present positive assessment for the construction of the intra-system alliance in the four families.
