The growing presence and importance of the blogs as tools of information and opinion’s transmission is, nowadays regarded as a fact of political and social contemporary life. Since their appearance, about a dozen years ago, blogs had an exponential growth, summing today to more than 172 millions. Blogs have an increasing work as a kind of opinion builders, often fulfilling an important role in conscience’s raising and possibly molding. This makes the analysis of what determines the issues of blogs very important. Besides the influence in their readers, blogs can exert some influence in the agenda of the mass media, like it happened in the past. It’s from the awareness of the role played by the blogs in society that the desire of making this paper is born. We propose ourselves to analyze the influence of the Portuguese blogosphere in the national’s media agenda. After an analysis of the data collected from previous selected blogs and from the press, we conclude that this kind of influence does not constitute a trend. Plus, the opposite occurs: there’s a tendency of the blog authors to write about what the mass media publish.por
